With the success of Awkward Family Photos, Mike and Doug told us about their plan to create an entire network of awkwardness.  The first installment just went live and is already become a viral sensation. Awkward Family Pet Photos (AFPP), as the name suggests, is celebrating the special bond between people & their pets.  They credit the inspiration as follows:

Since starting AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com, we have received so many wonderfully strange family pet photos that we decided they needed a home of their own. Whether it be the whole clan posing with their dogs, dressing up (or being dressed with) their cats, or getting cuddly with a wild animal, there is an inherent awkwardness to our relationship with our pets. After all, we love them, but sometimes… perhaps a little too much.
