So Lolcats has been around for awhile.  It’s absolutely, absurdly, funny.  But do cats really personify people?  Well, the creators of AverageCats don’t think so!  AverageCats is a site with pictures of cats being, well.. aveage.

Why was the site created?  Good question.  AverageCats says this:

As you may have noticed, nearly all cat pictures include captions. And these captions usually personify the cat in some way or another.

What the internet fails to realize is that most cats do not think like people. They think like cats. AverageCats seeks to remedy this misinformation by providing a helpful, pictorial primer on cats.

This cat is napping. Cat's do this often, there, this is no big deal.

This cat is not hacking Google it just needed somewhere to rest.
